  • M5 Gloucester Emergency Tree and Vegetation Clearance Works Completed

    As part of our HE Area 1 and 2 CWF Framework contract, ATM responded quickly to mobilise several experienced vegetation removal / arborist teams on Emergency scrub clearance and arboricultural works for Highways England on the M5 near Gloucester.

    Katherine Liddington (Stakeholder Relations Manager), Neil Winter ( Route Manager)  and Soft Estate Managers Jon MacKeen and David Lovejoy  met some of our team on site to thank them for their hard work and sensitive execution.

    These high profile works were completed ahead of the bird nesting season and to the relief and satisfaction of nearby residents.

    We are looking for Vegetation management / landscape and fencing operatives to join our teams located in the following regions:

    South West

    West Midlands

    Yorkshire / North East

    Fencing Operatives  – A full driving licence is essential and  trailer endorsement would be an advantage.  Some  fencing experience is essential. Nationally recognised qualifications would be an advantage.

    Vegetation Management / Landscape Operatives – A full driving licence is essential and trailer endorsement would be an advantage. Vegetation experience would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given. Nationally recognised qualifications would be an advantage.

  • M62 at Saddleworth Moor

    22 March 2018

    Atm working on the M62 at Saddleworth Moor clearing concrete lined ditches for Aone+. Using our Yanmar 7.5ton excavator fitted with its 2 meter extension enabled our operators to reach the channels from the hard shoulder. The wider channels were accessed directly using our 5 ton Kubota excavator fitted with tilting bucket. This enabled our operators to access the ditch directly and successfully clear the channels of 25 years of silt and vegetation. Great work team!!

  • Roadside Vegetation and Hedge Cutting and Somerset and Devon

    One of ATM’s Unimogs, busy cutting roadside vegetation and hedges for the Forestry commission in Somerset & Devon.  These works are carried out annually to provide tidy and safe walking Forest roads for forestry operations and the general public, and essential External hedgerow cutting to provide tidy and safe roadside vegetation on the public road.
