ATM was formed in 1979, around the same time that the UK coal mining industry began to decline. As the pits closed, we were charged with the task of reclaiming the land, seeding, planting and beautifying the mine environment and other redundant sites ready for new uses.
The expertise that was gained on these large-scale projects enabled the company’s focus to move into general landscaping and fencing. Contracts were soon won from a wider base of sectors including civil engineers, construction and environmental clients.
Today, ATM offers extensive expertise built around from an established and experienced team. Our portfolio of services includes all aspects of landscaping, highway maintenance, fencing and vegetation management/maintenance and light civil works to a wide range of industry sectors including government, development corporations, councils, utilities, major contractors and architects.
Our team, from site staff to management and office staff, pride themselves on delivering professionalism throughout all operations, whilst offering a personal touch which our customers value. Our contract managers closely oversee each contract from commencement to completion, developing working relationships, contract familiarity and facilitating successful service delivery. To ensure this professionalism is matched by capability. ATM has extensive resources and a wide range of wholly owned vehicles and plant. At ATM we partner exclusively with sub-contractors whose workmanship values and service levels match our own.
