ATM helping out at Wellfield pond02 April 2019
When we received a call from Durham County Council to see if we could help remove some fly tipped tyres from Wellfield pond, we were only too happy to help.
We also made use of our time on site by levelling the car park, spreading woodchip to make areas more accessible and creating a new pond from a previously dried up silted area.
The guys at Wellfield lake are doing great things for their community and it was a pleasure for ATM to donate some time to this valuable ongoing project.
Well done all!
Steve Arnaud, Secretary – EDAS Wellfield Lake –
“Big thank you to our friends at ATM Ltd.
A full day’s work to remove tyres from the pond, cleared the woodchips into place, re-surfaced the car park, and started our wetland restoration project.
The lads grafted non stop and done a corker of a job”

In this particular area, a three-man team were able to work with Clients direct staff; floating cuttings downstream where access was poor, allowing a machine driver to remove from channel with shredder bucket.
